Email Configuration Guide: IMAP & SMTP

This guide provides the necessary settings and step-by-step instructions to set up your professional email account on various devices and platforms.

📋 Connection Settings

Use the following details for a secure, encrypted connection (SSL/TLS).

Incoming Mail Server (IMAP)

  • Server: mail.yourdomain.com
  • Port: 993
  • Encryption: SSL/TLS
  • Username: [email protected]
  • Password: yourpassword

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)

  • Server: mail.yourdomain.com
  • Port: 465
  • Encryption: SSL/TLS
  • Username: [email protected]
  • Password: yourpassword

Note: We recommend using IMAP over POP3 if you use multiple devices, as it syncs your emails across all of them.

❓ Troubleshooting Tips

  • Authentication Failed: Double-check that your full email address is entered as the username.
  • Cannot Send Mail: Ensure the Outgoing Port is set to 465. Some networks block the default port 25.
  • SSL Errors: Make sure the encryption type is set to SSL/TLS rather than "None" or "STARTTLS".
